Staking with Socean
How to start staking with Socean
Direct ◎SOL Deposit
The easiest way to stake with Socean is via direct ◎SOL deposits.

Depositing SOL
Click
Launch Socean
Click "Connect" to connect your wallet.
We currently only support Sollet and Phantom. More wallet support coming soon!
Once you have connected a wallet, the Stake/Unstake card will be enabled. Select the amount of SOL you want to deposit and click the
Deposit button:
You're done! You now have
$SOCN in your wallet, which is constantly growing in value, and can be exchanged for SOL at any time.Swap SOL and USDC for scnSOL
Instead of a direct deposit, you can swap using a liquidity pool. We will have several LP integrations coming shortly.
Deposit from an Active Stake Account (Advanced)
You can directly merge an activated stake account into the Socean stake pool using our stake pool CLI. If you have existing stake activated in one of validators we stake with, you will not have to deactivate your stake. You can deposit your SOL into the pool directly without having to wait!
You can either deactivate or deposit your staked SOL
Click "Deposit" to receive SOCN tokens instantly, or "Deactivate" to unstake your SOL.
If you have stake that is not in a validator that we stake with, you will not be able to deposit it into the pool, and you will have to deactivate it before doing so.
You need to deactivate stake accounts "NOT IN POOL"
Withdrawing SOL
Instant unstake
You can withdraw unstaked SOL at any time.
At the moment, the instant unstake functionality is powered by a third-party DEX (Orca).
First, connect your wallet. Then, select "Instant unstake" on the Stake/Unstake card:
Select "Instant Unstake" on the Stake/Unstake card
Approve the transaction in your wallet and you will get SOL instantly.
Delayed unstake
You can withdraw staked SOL at any time in the form of stake accounts.
Withdrawn stake accounts consist of SOL that is still actively staked to a validator. As such, they are subject to Solana's staking cooldown limits and can only be withdrawn as fully liquid SOL at least an epoch later.
First, connect your wallet. Then, select "Delayed unstake" on the Stake/Unstake card:
Select the amount of SOL you want to withdraw:

After approving the transaction, you will instantly see the SOL in a stake account. (It is no longer in the SOCN stake pool).

If the stake account is active, you can click on "Deactivate" to deactivate its SOL. The stake account will enter the deactivating state. You can then withdraw the unlocked SOL once the stake account fully deactivates on the next epoch or after.

The only action stake accounts in the activating or deactivating state can perform is to cancel their activation or deactivation.
Otherwise, if the stake account is inactive, you can click on "Withdraw" to directly withdraw the SOL.

You can also use your wallet to manage your stake accounts, if that is supported (e.g. Phantom, Solflare)
